Good reading as always. Speaking of the Advocates there are two posts to take particular note of. The Super's Blog reprints a letter from Gerald Bracey to the NY Times responding to the NAEP article mentioned below. Bracey's right on as usual. Also, the Folkbum rants about teacher wages and the need to more fully support public education and teachers, and not just financially.
